It's a great value and it is Franklin Pierce University's policy that all students residing in a traditional residence hall purchase a meal plan each semester.
All Access means you have no limit to the number of times that you can come into the Marketplace Cafe. Come for a coffee before class, come back after class for breakfast, and stop in between meals for an ice cream… no problem!
Dining Dollars are like a debit account right on your ID card. Your All Access plan will allow you to eat as much as you want in the Marketplace Cafe, but we understand that you might get hungry after hours or want a beverage or snacks for your room. This is where your Dining Dollars come in handy! You can use your Dining Dollars to purchase food and beverages in the Library Cafe (coffee, pastries, smoothies, etc.) or for late night snacks in the Raven's Nest!
Yes! Changing to a bigger or smaller meal plan can be done during Add/Drop at the beginning of each semester. Changing to a larger plan is possible at any time during the semester.
If you live off-campus, you can purchase a traditional meal plan through Student Financial Services. Our Block Meal Plans offer a lot of flexibility for off-campus students, though you may also enjoy the convenience of the All Access or 15 Meal/week Plans as that will minimize the time you must spend grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning up!
Block meals may be used during the semester in which they are purchased. They do not carry over from semester to semester.
With each Meal Plan you get 4 guest passes each semester. These are stored right on your ID card. If you have additional guests, you can use your Dining Dollars, Raven Dollars or cash to purchase meals for them.
Dining Dollars are cash values included with all meal plans. The amount included with each meal plan varies. They work like a pre-paid debit card. The funds are spent using your student ID card. Dining Dollars may be used at any on-campus dining location.
Balances are carried over from the fall to the spring when a new meal plan is purchased in the spring. Balances are not carried over from academic year to academic year.

Raven Dollars are deposited into a pre-paid account available on your campus ID. Raven Dollars may be used at the bookstore and dining locations on campus.
